Lee Seham, who graduated Magna Cum Laude from Amherst College, received his law degree from New York University School of Law ("NYU"), where he served on the NYU Law Review.

Mr. Seham’s expertise as a labor and employment lawyer is widely
recognized; he has litigated in numerous jurisdictions, including New
York, New Jersey, Illinois, Florida, Texas, California, Tennessee, Washington, Minnesota and Georgia.  His representation of clients in the airline and maritime industries has included collective bargaining, NLRB hearings, arbitration, DOT administrative hearings and advocacy before a Presidential Emergency Board.  Mr. Seham is also a frequent lecturer at trade association meetings on such varied topics as the "Americans with Disabilities Act", the "Family Medical and Leave Act’, and the "Fair Labor Standards

   

Lucas Middlebrook graduated cum laude from Pace University School of Law and is an Associate with the firm of Seham, Seham, Meltz & Petersen, LLP. ("SSMP").  

SSMP serves as general counsel to American Maritime Safety, Inc.
("AMC") which is a not-for profit trade association that was developed in the late 1980’s to assist the maritime industry with its compliance with U.S. Coast Guard drug and alcohol testing regulations and International Shipping Protocol.   AMS has approximately 400 member companies from around the world.

Lucas serves as Assistant General Counsel to AMS, and in that role has counseled hundreds of maritime companies relating to compliance with U.S. Coast Guard Drug and Alcohol testing regulations and compliance procedures.  As part of that counseling, Lucas has traveled to locations across the United States and around the world conducting seminars on proper U.S. Coast Guard regulatory interpretation and chemical testing procedures.  In this capacity, Lucas is certified by the Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association as a Certified Professional Collector Trainer.

Lucas also litigates a variety of labor and employment issues in federal and state courts across the country and recently co-authored a submission to the United States Supreme Court relating to specific drug and alcohol testing issues stemming from the Exxon Valdez incident.  In addition to his litigation work, Lucas is a frequent lecturer on employment related topics such as anti-discrimination and sexual harassment prevention.
